Resounding Success
It’s strange - I knew that writers were in fairly high demand in the adult industry. I literally haven’t had a day off since I’ve launched Sultry Services, though. Am I complaining? Hell no - it’s just fascinating.
I’m going to be making a few changes around here as well as writing up a few more service offerings. I’ll also stop being lazy and write up some content packages. One thing I’m still not sure of, though.
What exactly do I call myself? Adult copywriter seems a bit too bland and misleading - that could easily refer to someone writing for any adult audience. Porn penner has the aliteration thing going for it (no I cannot spell that word to save my life). Sex text writer has a pretty nice ring. Eroticopy would be great - if it hadn’t been used for another adult copywriting business.

I’ve been working on some pretty interesting projects. On the mainstream side, I have a World of Warcraft priest guide lined up for Game Guides Online. I’m also getting a druid article published in Beckett’s Massive Online Gamer print magazine. Know that Gamingpays.com guy? I’m working on a special report for his site - it’s all pretty interesting.
On the adult side, most of my time has been taken up by Batts from Battsworld. He’s busy getting his sites and affiliate program ready to launch - so there’s a ton of writing to be done. :)
I also changed around the portfolio - while I was going to add a bit of spice and graphics into it, I had a second thought. After all, I’m a bloody writer, not a graphic designer. So I’ve just put excerpts of selected portfolio items. This will give you an idea of my writing style without having to click a thing. You can find it here.
I also changed my mind on the story thing. I’ll take on certain fiction projects. However, I am still focused primarily on copywriting.
