The terms and conditions of Sultry Services are outlined below.

Trial Projects
Trial projects are a mandatory upfront payment. I have had too many people cut and run after agreeing to a trial project price, so unfortunately I need to insist on this.

Rights
The majority of services that I offer include full, exclusive rights to the piece. However, there are several pieces, namely magazine articles/columns, ebooks, and reviews that fall under First North American electronic rights. You have the exclusive rights to those pieces for one year after delivery (unless otherwise negotiated).

Portfolio
You agree to allow me to post a small description of your project, the services I provided, and a thumbnail picture of the site worked on in my portfolio. I will not use your real name in this description. If you do not wish to have your project listed in my portfolio, please ask about ghostwriting rates.

Start and Completion Dates
I will estimate a start and completion date for your project to the best of my abilities. If you require it to be started or completed sooner, please let me know in the beginning stages of your project. Many times I am working with a 72 hour lead time so I need to know whether I can schedule you normally or you need an expediated service.

I will do my best to fit you in when you desire, but I cannot guarantee it. Smaller projects have a higher chance of being scheduled in before my estimated start date.

Project Scope
I will outline everything that we have discussed within the project scope section of the work order. You may incur additional costs if you require more services than outlined on the project scope, so make sure that you cover everything you’ll need.

Payment
Payment details are provided on the service invoice. A 25% upfront deposit is required on projects over $200. Sorry, but I’m tired of getting burned. Payment is due 30 days after completion of the project through any of the methods outlined on the invoice. If invoices remain unpaid after 30 days, 5% interest will be added to the total invoice amount for every month it is overdue.

Edits and Rewrites
Reasonable Edits, rewrites, and additions to a project are done with no cost to you. If you require a complete rewrite or significant additions to a project, there will be additional fees unless this is requested in the original service order. I will send drafts and samples when I begin your project so that we’re on the same page. You will need to inform me of any significant changes to a project during the draft stage to avoid possible additional fees down the road.

Revisions and Project Satisfaction
Let me stress one last time, you need to tell me everything that you want in the project. You will be subject to additional costs because of extra time put into the project if you forget to mention an important part of said project until after I have started work. This includes any specific linking codes, formatting, or other extra requirements. Cross your t’s and dot your i’s or it will cost me time and you money!
